Dr Kohl is a postodctoral research fellow in the Applied Memory Lab at the University of Birmingham. She commenced this post in 2023, after completing a PhD in cognitive psychology at the University of Tasmania, Australia. While her primary research interests lie in understanding theoretical models that drive confidence in decision making (primarily in the context of recognition memory and perceptual discrimination), Dr Kohl's research also spans more applied topics such as eyewitness memory, police lineup procedures, calibration of cognitive tasks and more.
